17x9's up front

Default 17x9's up front

im wanting to get some 17x9 03 cobra wheels but am wondering if they will rub the struts up front any.i also have 4cyl spindles and brakes up front

It seems that if there is any rubbing at all with 17X9 in the front its the rim on the A-arm, which is a easy and cheap fix. Rack limiters/Travel restrictors there both the same part.
I have 17X9 in front and that was the only problem I had!

im lowered 2" in front with 17x9 cobra r's on 225 tires and my wheels rub on my a-arms. easy fix as stated before though.

i just wanted to make sure.i didnt want to drop money on rims and they rub the struts.i dont care if they rub the a arms and i dont ever turn my wheels all the way anyway.i already got the v8 spindles if i need to change them so thats no big deal

i run a 245/45/17 yokohama on the front with my 17x9 cobras. like stated they rub the a-arm at full lock but i just dont turn it full lock. also you may have to push the inner fender well plastic up and use a short self tapping screw to hold it. mine started to eat through the plastic. but thats easy

im not worried about those rubbing problems as long as it dont rub anything while rollin straight.
