Any one use the royal purple line of full synthetics in there 302 yet? If so how you liken it? Im about to do my oil pan gasket this weekend and im thinkin bout switchin over to full synthetics but was wonderin if ill get the same bang for my buck outta mobile 1 and others. (yes I already know to ensure all the old oil is drained before swapping in full synthetic)

i use RP 10W-30 and like it. it seems to hold up really well, and i beat the **** out of my engine when it was in my car...

RP is good but I prefer AMS. I run it in my daily driver (aka buick lesabre) which has about 15,000 on the oil change and my street car (aka Frank). Expensive but well worth it.

got tired of my 308, and ~260rwhp...

and it ran for at least a year with a few broken rings, and horrible oil pressure...

beat a few LT1's like that too
