Default another gear question

how much have people paid to have gears installed? i know that it varies from state to state ect, but i live in lincoln NE and im just looking for a baseline price. i have thought about doing them myself but have decided to just play it safe and have them done professionally. also i read that pro 5.0 offers a 3:90 gear would that be better than the 3:73 even tho the car is my daily driver?

your asking for a real broad range of answers and will get such replies from 500 to 200 to 100 to some backyard boner did mine for a large pizza and some beer......just call around the area you live in and get some quotes, each area is different, just cause the guy in the hills of Kentucky paid 150.00 to have his done and the guy who lives in down town L.A. california paid 500.00, doesn't mean one guy got screwed and the other didn't, it's all subject to the area you are in so shop and compare

hey i live in nebraska also in omaha. depending on the shops in lincoln, youre looking around 200. and might as well have them do the rear wheel seals why the axles are out. and depending on your mileage i would do new bearings. im getting ready to do gears here soon i think. and i am goin to rebuild the track lok also
