-Push my car up through the staging lanes. Starting and moving up 20' just heats up the intake.
-Try not to use up my battery power. So between runs doors are shut, radio is not playing and electric fan is not cooling a radiator with no water flow (sometimes I'll run it for about 1 minute) and as said, constantly starting it to move it 20'. The theory here is I'd rather do my run with a fully charged battery. A low battery forces the alternator to work, which requires power.
- I will run the front tires over the max pressure to decrease rolling resistance.
That's the only secrets I'm letting out for now.

wow im impressed with the lice box t.b
thats a good idea i like it.
The battery thing thats interesting..
and the stats there about the air silencer are crazy, but hey it works.
The only reason i think a cai is better is because its a smooth path.
all the bumps in the stock rubber tube create a crazy amount of eddies. Worse then the silencer would.
id like to hear some more keep em coming!

oh i also forgot to mention, for 2 years now i have been meaning to race my old man.
hes got a 68 nova, 350 750holly stock ex manifolds. ( cars all stock. very sexy & clean)
But im going to do everything i can to take down his experience.
- remove pass seat, most likely back seat too
- remove spare
- debating pulling the air box
- icing the intake
- high octane
- clean what i can,
i thought i had a bigger list then that...
practice my launch on the back roads b4 hand
oh and i may borrow some slicks from my buddys next door neighbor. I dont know how using slicks with no experience would go over though..

dont run a higher octane then what your engine needs
