I want to remove my BBK strut tower brace to send it in to get chrome plated, but it's gonna be a bit more difficult than I thought. Do I have to take out the front inner fenders? The bolts spin but don't back out, which obviously tells me that there's a nut on the under side. Then there's the 2 bolts on the firewall...how in the world can I access the rear nuts on those? Please tell me that I don't have to remove the dash LOL!?

you probably have to remove the inner fender covers

If your hands are small enough and arms long enough you can reach up past the splash shield toward the nuts without removing the tire and feel the nuts that hold the STB to the ST. If not just remove the tire and you'll have plenty of access the nuts.

The bolts on the fire wall just remover your wipers and the cowl grill and you'll gain access to those nuts.

its not that hard but one bolt on the firewall is a tight fit
