Default Information Requested!

I just recently finished installing my SLP Loudmouth Cat-Back(Love it) and am installing a BBK Performance H-Pipe tomorrow, and am already looking ahead at what I can do next(The mod bug is a bitch).

Thinking of 4.10 gears.

With a Ratech 305K Complete Ring and Pinion Installation kit.
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/RAT-305K/?rtype=10?

Quality of those parts/set? And also, what else will I need? Any input is appreciated!

Edit: Is that a pancake on the bunny's head? ..just wondering.

FRPP gears are the best IMO. thats what i have.

is your car an auto or 5-speed?

auto: 4.10s and shift kit
5-speed: 3.73s

It's a 5-Speed. I'm going to go with the 4.10's first. Staying N/A for quite a while, and I've been researching the 3.73 vs 4.10 debate to death the past 6 months, decided I would like the 4.10's the most.

Is there anything else I should grab when I order those? Gear oil? Is there a speedo gear or anything I need to grab to ensure that the speedo is correctly calibrated?
Thanks!

ya 4.10s arnt horrible on a manual car... .I had 4.30's when it was manual wit hthe 5.0... Really is a blast around town
and ya +1 stick with Ford gears, they dont whine, other companeis seem to make gears that just whine while driving and its really annoying

ya i dont think you can get a tooth gear for 4.10s to work exactly.

i kno for my transmission the tallest gears i could get was 3.73s and still get the speedo to read properly. i have the yellow drive gear. not sure which one they had in 88 tho

I also suggest the 373s, and along with the oils and friction modifier for install, I suggest going through the axle bearings and seals as well while youre in there.
