Default Speed Density/ Mass Air Question

so i am still trying to sort out what the previous owner did and did not do to my car. iam pretty sure at this point my idle/drivability is not vacuum related? how can i tell that the car has been switched over to mass air, it has a mass air meter, but i am not sure of everything that needs to be changed over along with the mass air. the ecu? and if so how can i tell? could it be a bad injector? sorry for the rookie questions i am pretty new to efi... thanks mike

If you are interested. You could drop the car off to me, I could go through it for you and tell you what needs to be fixed
