Default 1st Highway drive gone bad

I recently rebuilt my 5.0, bored out and is now a 331. I also just replaced the T5 with a TKO 500, i took it on the highway for the first time and about 4 miles in i had a huge back fire and my RPM's started bouncing around, now the car wont start... any ideas?

wow...you need a better intake , bigger injectors and maf to match such and I'd get an adjustable regulator and if you still have the stock fp..upgrade and make the fuel system adequate for the stroker, as for a no start, check for spark.....if the pop when back through the intake, it's possible to damage the maf if it was a large enough backfire.

i would prob go 30# injectors with your setup

along with a PRO-M MAF for those injectors (best MAF out there)

What would you suggest as far as intake, injector size, maf and fuel pump?
