Your right! but Here's the deal,I have the stock h-pipe on my car which = four cats already and i'm looking for alittle bit more sound and I think the slp catbacks with the 3.5 tips are going to make it sound alittle louder and more raspy and thats what i'm L@@king for.Now if I already had the off road h or x pipe well than I would go with the magnaflows because the slp would than be too loud for my taste and my wife wouldn't get in the car. I have no plans on changing the stock h pipe out, just the stock mufflers and tailpipe.......

no resason to get different mufflers then...

the stock 2 1/4" and 4 clogged cats are going to negate any gains youll get from the cat back...

and FWIW, i think the double walled tips on the SLP's look ricer, i like the Magnaflow 3.5" tips far better...

I think your missing the point I'm just trying to get the car alittle louder and more raspy sounding thats ALL and I don't have 4 clogged cats.I just feel in this situation the slp would be better than the magnaflows for sound.I listened too a couple diiferent video clips with my setup,and slp catback was clearly louder than the magnaflows and thats what i'm looking for no gains other than that.....
