Default Re-building my 1990 5.0 have some questions

Hey guys im re-building my 1990 5.0 LX im converting it from auto to stick, and i pretty much have a t-5 trans already stage 2 clutch pedals for that part of it, for my rear im changing my 4.11 to 3.73 and i was wondering if its worth re building my stock limited slip or should i just get a new one or what a good replacement would be? and now for the motor i wanna re build my stock block to be carbed and run a decent amount of horsepower, im wondering what a good setup would be to do that, i also think im going to get a fuel cell and have it in my trunk, so i can run a mechanical fuel pump

All i can really help with is the diff part.

I have a 90 as well. And in the spring i am rebuilding my 8.8 because my posi was slacking and it was only a one wheel peel.
I know the 8.8 is pretty strong and id stick with it.

Im going to say the stock carrier will be fine, dont waste money on a new one.

I may make a write up on how to build up a 8.8 with new clutches and bearings too.

Im also adding 3.55. The clutches kit was from ford racing and was about 100. and the bearings i want to say was 60? ( it was an xmas gift.. ).

My car had about 225k ( KM's ((canadian )) ) on it when the rear went.. and everything drive line was stock. So theres a ball park time frame?

How many miles are on the car? ( i know this isnt a very good estimate, but its a start )

After you pull the motor and tranny, and your only 200 bucks from having a rebuild rear end.. might as well go for. Especially if your doing gears!

So how many feet in a KM (Kandian Mile)? We unmetricated people need to know. Try the carbon fiber clutch pack.

if u wanna rebuild ure rear, have the tubes straightened, welded and braced. the axle tubes are pressed in i beleived, bracing, welding and traightening them makes the rear rock solid
