Whats a good junkyard transmission cooler for a AOD to look for?

As for junkyard I would look for a bronco or f150 that came with aod and cooler (Only the towing package IIRC) if you see a bronco with 4 front shocks and auto it should have the cooler.

I personally would just buy a new cooler for the price difference when talking about something that costs as much as an aod to fix.....

I would reccomend a external filter. Perma-cool makes some good ones, and you can also get a temp sensor included in the housing so you can keep an eye on the tranny temps

I do have a flex-a-lite #3810 its a 10000 GVW, but I was thinking of going with something bigger. Its new i haven't installed it would this be good or should i go with a bigger one? Just thought I look for something at the junkyard since i have to go down to look for a few other things.
