I want to modify the 460 engine in my 1997 ford f350 for sled pulling competitions, I am hoping you mustang guys have some ideas for tuning it once i add a big cam, high compression pistons ect. The engine does not have a mass air system. The two options I have found so far is the western motorsports SDS system or a mass air conversion from IST products. has any one used either of these on a mustang? I am leaning toward the western motorsports SDS system. Any other ideas or advice would be appreciated.

the SDS is a very nice piece... however, you can save yourself alot of money by just using a mustang ECM and wiring to make it all work.

or run a megasquirt

the shops that i have talked to wont touch it because it doesn't have mass air.
