Burning oil on a 88 notch?

If you want to know for sure without spending money, let someone drive it and see for yourself.
Have you replaced the pcv valve and screen? Have you had any problems with rear main seals?
I have a friend with the same set-up that has blow-by like you describe under load. says the car uses no oil.
