I have a Redneck "3100" stall and it won't flash to that even on nitrous. There are a ton of factors involved in this, so it would be best to just call the companies and see what they suggest. Good luck

so your not happy with the redneck? Most recommend a 2800-3200, and edge said a 3400.

get a custom stall for your setup dont waste your money on over the counter stuff. And by the way im running a 5000 stall

I am not thrilled with the stall speed. The converter seems to be decent quality though. Basically, a build sheet needs to be filled out to get a proper converter. And a light Mustang with an 8.2" engine USUALLY won't make a converter flash to its advertised speed. If you go with a Redneck, order a higher "stall" than you need, as I have heard from many people that theirs is also too tight.

I'm running a 4500 Hughes in my 2830# Mustang.8.2 deck 352 cid.
Mechanical roller.
It seems to work very good with nearly 0 for slip on top end....
Btw, it will idle thru the pit at about 800 RPM going about 7 mph.....

going with PTC 10'' 3500 ! need to get some 3.73 gears
