Default Where to find Differential Type

This is my first Ford so I am wondering how and where they code which differential is in my car? I'd like to know what the stock setup is and the ratio. I am positive it is a limited slip....... Just what ratio and size and spline count?? The car is a 95 GT all stock.

Default Got the info from the tag

On the tag bolted to the cover the numbers are as follow

5223G
2L73 88 4H06

So does that mean 2.73 gears and an 8.8 Diff? Not sure what the other numbers are.

My AX code in the door is "M"

all GT's have an 8.8, and you have 3.08's...

No 3.27 were also available on the 5 speeds. I know lots of people that have stock 5.0L with the 3.27 and a five speed.
