sooooooooooooo... im assuming you still have the stock cam

in which case, you should shift at 5000

if you shift quick enuff... use a 5200 chip for your light, that should have you actually banging the shift right about 5400-5500

but play with it alittle, like 200 and 400 lower and higher

don't bother with the stock tach... it's useless at hi r's

okay so 5000. what should i be launching at? 3 1/2?

What tires are you running and what size are they. You can launch at 2500 with stock tires 3500 to 4K with drag radials.

however high you can without breaking loose.

if the tires squeal.. you launched too hard or dropped the clutch too fast.

if they went " eh eh eh eh eh " then you did good

and that all depends on the tire.

if you CAN get 2.0's on stock radials your driving good.
if you CAN'T get 1.7's on cheaters, your doing bad
and no... nittos are NOT cheaters.... they are like stock radials and a waste of space
