Hi guys i need some advice if i may.

Car is a 1990 mustang. Now i removed my stock k member to install my new tubular k member in. While removing i noticed my front subframe is rusting away pretty good bothsides.

My question I have is it worth trying to repair, or scrap it? I have a 10 pt cage and battle boxes reinforced w/subframe connections also.

If its worth repairing whats the best way to go about it.

i'm sure someone has to of encountered this problem. any thoughts are appreciated.

that is a decision you have to make, pics of the rust would be helpful , but rust repair must be done by cutting out rust and welding in good parts, if you have to pay soemone, it may not be cheap/ worth it

if it's rotted to the point of no return, obviously scrap it. if not, remove the rust and PREVENT future rust!!!

That also depends on your ability. Fivepointohh had the same problem but worse and fixed his problem himself.

i'll try to get some pics. As for how bad in my opinion its pretty bad, wish i would of found this before i went and put so much money into lol. Live n Learn.
