Default Classic Tags?

I am in the process of trying to get classic tags for my 94' gt. From what I heard with classic tag there is no emmision testing. So I can take off my cats and they can stay off. Does anybody know what else the restrictions are for a classic tag. I know they are really strict with anique tags. Thanks

wrong. Federal law, any car that is 1974 and newer is REQUIRED to have catalytic converters.

If you like federal fines, go right ahead

problem is, there aren't really any people in the field , apart from the actual emissions inspectors at our state run hub to enforce that law.......lol

Well too Qualify for the classic car insurance rate the car must be 20 years or older, from what AllState told me but to just get the classic plate here in Pennsylvania the car must be all original. which means rims, hood, spoiler blah blah... They make u take pictures of all four sides of the car and send them too Department Of Transportation.(Not sure if my car would Qualify anymore because I got the windows tinted) .......?
