I found a pair of 83-86 style taillights for sale locally that I'm interested in. They would be a direct swap into my 88 right? The bulbs/#of bulbs is the same right? Is $40 a good price for the pair? I asked what shape they were in and got, "Pretty good. There is one small chip out of the top of one, but when
trunk or hatch is closed you wouldn't see it."

Anything from 83-93 are interchangeable. The 79-82 are but they are not a bolt-in/-on part. You have to change the tail panel i believe.
