Default Selena Lives!!!

Just want to say I got my 5.0 off of life support and breathing on her own. I drove her for 6 miles today on her own will since August when she blew up when I beat a GT-R (no ****) in a drag race. But anyways she's running. Had a blown driver's side head gasket, blown timing chain cover gasket, blown lower intake gasket, that's what I fixed. She still has a blown rear main seal, timing needs some work, and may have a misfire, not sure, but point is she works, finally!!! Felt so good to hear that Kenne Bell rip over today...

Great Glad you got it going again.

If you don't mind me asking, which plenum gasket did you use. Every time I take my kb off it looks like it may not be sealing. Do you ever notice that??

Regular GT-40, I don't think mine is sealing either I think I'm going to have to put in a new one.

Yeah, it always looks like fuel or whatever is leaking through...idk...i don't feel like I am getting mine tight enough with that swivel headed allen wrench. Even though it seems not to have vacuum leaks? Maybe it wouldn't hurt to re-tighten it after a week or so. Or maybe let it seal real good next time before boosting. (I always boost it hard right after I put it back on.) Even though it is hard NOT to boost the car. Seems like the slightest throttle will put the supercharger in boost. I may even go as far as using some kind of sealant on it next time...

Anyways, I'm glad you got it going again. That looks to be a really clean Mustang.
