Thumbs up TKO's and carbon fiber

I was just poking around and noticed that Promotion Powertrain in Florida has released new for this year, carbon fiber blocker rings for the synchro assemblies in the TKO's. Figured I'd post it in here since there are quite a few of us running TKO's, and some people have problems with, or dislike the notchy shifting or lack of high rpm shift ability inherent in the brass blocker rings. It'd be especially good for the guys looking to shift at high rpm, particularly over 7k.

Let us know how it shifts. I don't mind the notchiness of my TKO really, but I was also used to my Toploader which was quite notchy. I imagine those CF blocker rings will really smooth the shifting out, and make a bigger difference at high rpm.

Did you do anything else to it, like the 2-3 upshift upgrade kit from Promotion?
