I'd love to know all what is done to it! I know whoever had it before me did alot of suspension stuff, and today I realized it's more than I thought. I have a tiny rear diff leak, so I brought it to my local oil change place to have the fluid checked/topped off, and the guys were blown away by the size of the rearend. They said "This thing has a huge rearend in it", and I told em that I believe it was out of an Explorer, and they then told me "This is way bigger than an Explorer rear end, it's at least a 9 inch". I also sold my 16" Cobra replica's yesterday that were on it to make room for the new wheels and tires to go on in a couple days, and at the end of the axles, there's a round sticker that says "Superior Axle & Gear" which may be nothing, but I'd love to know what was done. Oh well, obviously it can't 'talk' lol!

Well if it was a 9", it wouldn't have a rear cover. Superior axles are stronger than stock. I think Summit sells them.

Thanks for the info! The rear diff actually does have a cover, it says TA or somethin on it. So who knows...

post a pic , most lube a dube dube places are clueless, heck a pinto rear end would baffle them...lol
