Default got a flat so bias plys or radials? need opinions

So i got a flat last night in my left rear sliced the tire and my tube, so its time to get new tires, ive been completely up in the air as to getting the same et streets or going to the et street radial. if anyone has had both tires or has went from a bias ply other brand to a radial tire, did ya pick up anything with the radials or did you have any problems hookin?

I switched from BFG dradials (275/50/15) to a set of MT ET streets (26x10.5x15) and noticed an instant change in my traction. But the only thing i can say good about then, stays with track performance. Driving around normal roads was ok. they rode nice and soft, but the rear end of the car felt like it was all over the place due to the wrinkle wall nature of the ET Street.

IF i sell my 17" Steeda's, i'll be buying another pair of 15x8 or wider (if they fit) wheels for my car, and going with a regular street radial for DD purposes.

I switched from the MT bias-ply to the MT radial. Same height but the radial is a touch narrower. The radial hooked harder and MPH'ed more also. I (and many others) noticed that the bias-ply didn't hook as hard once they were street-driven. What RPM are you at on the big end? Because a radial won't grow like the bias did.

im going through at 6500 i want to bring it down but a taller tire isnt gonna happen. I hear so many people saying the radial hooks better and runs faster. even the chassis guy Dave zimmerman told me to get a radial and my car will improve. I got one et street and one et street radial on the car right now taking a look at them and trying to decide

Well a radial of the same size will raise your RPM of course. What size did you have? I dont think you said.

Exact same two sizes I have used. My 255's are an inch narrower though. Good Luck at the race
