Default Need some Info plz

Hi guys. I'm goin to be putting in a glide into my foxbody. I've done research and tried to find write up's but nothing too clear out there.
I see you have to change bellhousing and flywheel. I see you can get that from jw everyone seems to like.
Next do you need a different length driveshaft? Can i use my dump hump one just make a spacer?
Next does anyone know a write up done? And last but not least what do you guys think a powerglide core worth? 100 canadian? I have a guy who has one but i don't know if its worth the bill or not? AnY THOUGHTS OR opinions welcome

glides are rather old tech. the AOD can be built to handle way more power than they could before. Plus the C4 is a much more common swap

I have yet to hear of someone on here have a powerglide in one.

What are your mods and why do you want one? A C4 can be built cheaper and handle alot of power as well.

I've been getting alot of mixed opinions on transmissions to use. Can some people chime in who has experience with them?
c4, c6, th400, glide. I'm looking to spend some cash but don't have the experience to know what i should put in.

Again you did not answer my question. What are your mods and intentions for the car?

c4 cheapest way to go, can handle good power, easily rebuilt
c6 too heavy
th400 pointless
glide not needed unless you have a huge power car that only wants to shift once.

So either a c4 for straight track or an AOD if you want a street car as well. The only reason for the AOD though is for the OD.

ah sry, i got a 408w with a 200 shot. I had a tremec but i am not that good of a driver lol. Not to consistant. So now i want to try automatic and i've had suggestions to put a glide in
Though i've down some research and you are correct c4 seems to be my best route. I'm curious on a few ?'s hope you can hlp.
Pan fill or case fill?
Block plate is what?
Also when it comes to size of converter does it matter? I've read alot saying 8" or 10 ". Whats the difference is bigger always better :P thx sry for the newbie questions but gotta learn somehow.
