Mustang fall on face under hard take off?
I've got an 87 Mustang Gt that has ported 93 cobra heads, new valve spring package, with the 1.7 rr,PP intake with 65 mm t/b,mac 1 5/8 eq lenth header and full 2 1 /2 ehhaust.I 've just finished installing a Lunati cam with 272/282 duration and 477 lift but 506 with the 1.7 rr.Now here's the problem when you get on it hard it like the RPM's are coming up but you feel the power then when you go to 2nd gear it fall flat on it's face.It still has the 19lb injectors .Any ideas would by greatly appricated.

Fellow you got me wrong on this one.I'm just excited I didn't have convert to mass air.I did reset the timing advancing to 10 degrees seemed to help a lot but still falls a little in second. How do you check ,adjust fuel pressure ?Also what about 24 lb injectors or do I need them?Any help would be appricated.

Phildeez69 thanks for asking I adjusted the timing last night to 10 degrees advance and it seemed to do a lot better but i've since found out I needed to have disconnected the spout that is connected to the spout that plugs into the distributor. My bad but i'm hoping to get that problem fixed tonight.
