Default Quick GT 40 Question

Im looking to get a GT 40 Tubular Intake for my 95 GT, and was wondering how much more beneficial a tubular GT 40 intake would be to power gains, and how much horsepower they can handle?

Just the basic bolts ons; headers, 70mm TB, TB spacer, X pipe, flowmaster dual exhaust, underdrive pulleys. And always burn 93 octane or higher (if that makes a difference).

Its getting a supercharger (that i already have), heads and cam (later).

whats your timing at running 93? you can actually make less power if your timing isnt right for the 93. I run 36* total timing not sure what that relates to for BTDC

the intake will net you a couple extra ponies. what s/c are you going to run?

Its still stock timing, i figured that it probably will need adjustment. I have a Vortech Si Trim S/C, got between like 6-9 psi.

Don't forget to remove the spout before setting timing or else not much if any gain.

My GT-40 intake really woke the car up. When I had exhaust, intake, 70mm TB, 75mm MAF, UDP and the GT-40 intake my AODE made 219rwhp/267rwtrq. The intake coupled with 4.10's dropped my 1/8th time from a 10.17@71 to a 9.39@79. And they can handle quite a bit of power. Plus, the intake provides excellent low end torque versus some of the other performance intakes.
