24 lbs injectors max hp??
ok..i have and 86 gt stock bottom end and heads..i have a paxton 1220 pushing about 8 lbs of boost. i have the 19 lbs injectors in there right now (i know what u all r thinking...lol..) with the fmu. it obviously leans out at about 5200 rpm. it produced 303 hp and 311 pounds o torque and climbing at 8 degrees timing and joe at Dasilva Racing here in Ontario Canada had to abort the pull.
i just installed 24lbs injectors and mass air...so my question is what will these injectors max out at especially if i bump the timing and keep the fmu...( i know i am gonna get it with replies about ditch the fmu and go bigger injectors and a tune. but this is how i am doin it , like to see the numbers and get some real experiance with what can be gotton away with i will not be going heads and cam)

I have a full h/c/i on my 89 and duty cycle is acceptable from tests run however when I add 8-10 lbs of boost here soon, the 24's will be done..........remember inj rating isn't calculated by rwhp...so if you currently have 300+ then flywheel with no accessories is alot greater......BOO HOO if I don't affirm what you wish to hear, based on your first post it sounds as if you made your choice and are only here for reassurance, and those who reassure your choice, where will be their accountability when things may/may not go south for you?? answer that!! it's better to be safe than sorry, I will be running 36-42's depending on the boost level I'll choose. Personally, I'd of at least run 30-36 lb inj to be safe, besides if it they were maxed at 303 hp with 19's and it was climbing in power, you don't know how much more potential it had........ there are small things you could do that'd really up the hp and help it make more hp.
