Why is my car such a dog?

what gears do you have?
gears and tires alone will smoke a stock iroc all day long.
id be inclined you just need a tune at this point... after so much being taken apart your best bet might be getting it on a dyno and seing whats goin on.
then you'll KNOW what you need to do

Well it also sounds like there are a few unknowns about the motor. Cam for example could make or break that combo you have. If you're still running the stock cam with all those other mods it wouldn't surprise me if it ran worse than a stock 5.0 especially if it isn't tuned right. The 30# injectors are a bit overkill for that setup imo too even if the maf is calibrated. 24#'s would be better and you could probably even get away with the stock 19#'s still with that setup. Injectors don't make hp they only support it. Do the obvious tune up stuff the other guys mentioned; timing, plugs, fuel filter. Then I would say get a code reader and run a KOER test.

No problem, I see you over on Chitownracing a good bit. My bet is that it is something really simple. I looked at some kids Mustang the other day and he had his timing set at 37* base, I am shocked it even ran/started.

I hope its simple. If i get time on a nice day maybe next week id like to stop by. Ill just call you to set something up.

you can check the ranges of your fuel pressure. at idle it should read around 30psi and to check what it would be at wot you can just pull the vac line off the regulator and put you finger over the hose and it should read around 40psi
as for timing. if you are running stock timing 10* BTDC with spout out and you are running 93 octane it will run like garbage. i have mine set at 36* total timing (not sure what that relates to for base. prob around 16*). to set your total timing have someone hold your throttle around 3k while you set it. with mine set at 36* i run 93 octane
and just an fyi your timing advances as the rpm increases
def run a fuel filter! idk why you wouldnt have one in the first place....???
make sure your MAF is clean and your tps is set properly as well
wouldnt TFS-R heads be too large for a normal 302/6?? i would think those would be for a 347 or 351

You have to have a fuel filter on the car unless the fuel lines have been swapped out for aftermarket lines. There is just no way around it because of how they hook into the filter. Sounds like you need to really sit and go through your car and see what you really have with your own eyes. The original owner could have told you all kinds of things and given you paperwork for something else for all you know if you don't look for yourself.
