Clutch and shifter issues
I have a 91 mustang gt 5 spd
I have recently put a hurst 5 speed shifter and a spec clutch in,
My issues
#1 clutch doesnt engage until it hits the floor, should i get a fire wall adjuster?
#2 clutch is stiff as stiff or stiffer than a stock clutch, I put a stage one spec in it. Anyting i can do to get a soft feel?
#3 I put the hurst shifter in and it hits the square interior piece that goes around it when you put it in 1st, 3rd, 5th. Did i install backwards? This should fit without any issues.

#2
#1 all clutches need proper adjustment
#2 Spec clutches are known for being stiff
#3 Did you follow the instructions? Regardless "bolt on" parts are practically a myth, most everything requires some small amount of adaptation or modification to make it work right.
