$119 LT Headers from Summit...any reviews? advice?

Default $119 LT Headers from Summit...any reviews? advice?

saw these long tube headers at the summit racing site. i have a (stock) 5-speed 89 5.0 coupe, and these headers look tempting. but yet again, u get what u pay for?? does anyone know anything about these summit brand headers???

I threw a set of them in the dumpster about a month ago. they are **** headers. spend the money and get quality pieces

You are only going to get what you pay for.
$119 vs. $500+ for Hooker headers.

Someone came to me with a set and ask me to install. On close inspection I noticed weld had blown through leaving a hole the size of a bb. If you use them check close so you will not be taking them right back off. Bubba

their collector wont mate up with an hpipe or xpipe without modification, the mating area is different

yea, i figured that u legit five-o guys would say that.....u really do get what u pay for.......im gonna save up for the quality headers. and idk, "everyone" seems to talk really well about BBK, so im guessing thats a great brand........

You get what you pay for. I have a set of coated Tri-Ys from Dougs that are almost $600. The higher end headers are sturdier and fit better and don't leak and perform better. They just cost more.
