Default Mustang sellers are morons!!!!!!!!!!

I am new here love the site...but I gots to get something off my chest once and for all......I am only going to speak for the 1993 model model...because I own one....But here goes.....The only way to know for a fact that the car has under a 99,999 is to own it when it turns over....I mean after 99,999 it would read 00,001 for the next mile..Stupid idiots...kill me trying to sell a 1993 mustang with 49,000 mile on the car and expecting people to believe that that is original miles for a 17 year old car....All am saying is the speedometer has 5 spaces on it plus the mile that turns....and if you are not there to see it turn over don't believe some stupid salesperson that says.....we are only asking 9000 for a classic 1993 GT that only has 48,000 original miles....sorry has to vent......

Carfax to get an idea even though it still isn't a sure thing. I truly believe mine had 100k when I bought it 2 years ago. It was kept up with pretty good until the the last 3 years. When I bought it, it showed signs of sitting a long time.

absolutely unlikely but you never know. my first car was left to me and was almost eight years old but only 21k on it. it looked great but the tires were shot from sitting.

There are tons of little things that will tell you if a car has 49,000 or 149,000 miles on it. Sure sub 100k cars are rare, but they are out there.

Thumbs down

Not trying to be an a$$ but there are a lot of other cars with only 5 digits for your odometer. Run a Carfax if its Questionable. I personally wouldn't get on a mustang forum and Knock on mustang guys selling there cars. I think the only moron here is the one that a can't look at a foxbody and tell if its 68,xxx or 168,xxx. I happen to be one of the guys that has a foxbody with 65,875 documented miles and no im not trying to sell it. It is possible to have low mileage foxbody and everybody selling one is not a moron and a liar...

I put approx 300-600 miles on my car per year so if you multiply by 17 you get what=way less than 60,000 miles. Peace out

Though very rare a car that old could have 48,000 miles. I would most def ask alot of questions and maybe find the original owner, just my 2 cents..
