Default its amazing what 2 degrees of timing will do

so yesterday was the 4th race of the year for the index classes at my local track. It was around 89 degrees outside with about 29% hummidy so it was hot but not bad. Well the first pass of the day i clicked off early and went 10.94 at 122. the track temp started to sky rocket after that and it was up over 138 degrees so i had a tank of race gas in and my crew chief aka dad decided we would add 2 degrees of timing in under boost. Mind you the last time the car went 10s was when it was 55 out with low hummidy, well that 2 degrees of timing translated into the highest mph the car has ever turned and a tire roasting 1.79 60'ft netted me a 10.88 at 126.03 in the mid day heat. My next up grades are going to be pulling the rear end to put a spool , a 3.55 to bring the rpms down and then a full slick on the car since im having crap luck with the drag radials on traction. Im thinking with the mph in some cooler air come fall its going to go 10.60s.

Mius spinning hard everyrun after that with the timing increased i was pleased by the mph.

Yeah just got her done up in time. got about 6 weeks now to pull the rear end apart and do those up grades. the slicks are gonna be the most expensive part of the whole ordeal.

29* locked out at idle and i was taking out around 1.1 per pound of boost so right about 14-15 on the big end but now im only taking out about .7-.8 so its about 18
