Default My first 5.0 LX Hatchback

Here are pictures of my 92 LX 5.0 hatchback that I recently purchased. The car has its original paint still on it and is rare Bimini Blue. Car runs 11.10 @ 124MPH in street trim with a 347 stroker (no nitrous), Tremec TK-500 & 8.8 rear end. Full interior and all steel except for hood.

Love the car and my 68 camaro now sits while I drive the Mustang

Car ran this time using Mickey Thompson ET streets. Onlything different than picture when car was run was it had weld pro star big and littles on it. Now it has 17's all around.

Motor is a 347 stroker built locally and runs on pump gas. Edelbrock aluminum heads and intake kit and full comp cam roller system. I am trying to get more specs on motor but car is fast with no power adders.

Goes through traps at 5600 rpm and shift light is set at 6400 rpm with 3.55's. Going to go to 3.90's this fall or spring and a fresh clutch and confident can run 10.9X's

That is very good i assume that you have some suspension work done? Or maybe 4 cylinder springs in front with rear coil overs?

yes....Edelbrock Victor Jr Aluminum heads are on the car. Front suspension has drag shocks and no sway bar. Rear has adjustable coilover (granatelli) suspension. Frame connectors and 6 pt roll cage in car.

I am trying to get that information. Engine was built by a friend of mine 6 years ago and I bought the car from another friend. I will share the details once available...but a potent combo
