Do I need 24lb injectors and 70 mm t/b??
I saw in an older 5.0 mustang magazine where they did a H/C/I upgrade on I believe an 89 LX 5.0 .They used tri state aluninum heads ,e303 cam and professional products intake.and 30 lb injectors. Now I know my heads arn't aluninum but they are way better than stock.I don't think I need 30 lb but since I still have the 19 lb I was wondering if I upgrade to 24 will it help? Also they used a 70mm t/b and i've still got the 65 mm.Shoud I change that too?

30 lbs in that article is overkill, your 19's most likely are fine and max you'd need would be 24's with your set up, but unless you have a way to measure duty cycle which I'm sure you don't , then only a dyno tune would tell you where your at/need to be.

The 65mm tb is enough flows 290cfm @5" and 560cfm @ 20", your gt40 heads dont flow that and the 19`s are fine but you could get by with 24`s, would it be worth the money to swap in opinion no, but like stated above, unless you hvae the car put on a dyno or have aftermarket tuning and data logging capabilities u cant know your duty dycle! that is what you should be more concerned about not the rating of the injectors.
Most injectors are flow rated at 43.5 psi fp. so unless you are running that your 19`s are more like 17.8 or so!
Same said if you have more fp, the injector will act bigger but drive up the duty cycle!
