I'm only questioning your choices because I'm a rookie and am still learning, but why go forged parts? I thought rule of thumb with 347 was avoid nitrous and FI? But if you're not going those routes, then why pay extra for the forged? I have no idea about the blocks but are they reinforced or are the walls between cylinders thicker? Just learning, not being an ***.

Thanks all. Ya the block is a lot thicker and its said it can handle up near 1000 hp. My plan is to be around 450 - 500 hp by next year. Its at the dyno right now and its right around 390 rwhp now. I still need to but long tubes on and proably change out to an electric fan and that should help out quite a bit. Here are some more pics

Still there, When I dropped it off I knew he was going out of town and he was not able to finish. Plus the motor seems to be "missing" when gets up to high rpm's. He is not sure if its a spark problem or a valve problem. Im hoping just a spark cause the heads are brand new. So shold be done monday afternoon. But Donnie is pretty cool I stopped in and was very cool explained everything to me and knows what hes talking about. He even said 400 rwhp is top for what I got. I was hoping for 450 - 470 hp.

I thought I came across that somewhere while I was looking up how stroker kits work. I read mixed opinions about the durability of a 347 kit. I thought because of the thinner piston size and location of the wrist pins, that the strength of the setup is lower? Feel free to correct me, I'm just learning.

dude put it this way dont worry about dyno numbers, i made 386 to the wheels through my auto on donnies dyno and 495 to the wheels with my stick well im running 10.80s with the 386 to the wheels its all about the setup and what it runs my cars not light either its 3154 with me in it.
