i have an 65 mustang with an 85 5.0 and an 82 srod trans. i have put 351 heads new y-pipe headers hei distributor new intake 600cfm 4bbl. now my question is can my trans hold up to this power or will i have to get a t5. i ask because i have heard that the srod trans was very weak and wouldnt hold up to the power of a slightly modded 5.0.
