3.55 and spool

you would have been better off just getting 28" tires. You will likely find that your going to lose some at the top end now because of more effort needed to get the car off the line.
Heres why I say this.
My car runs 3.73 gears. I have too much RPM left at the end of the track. i COULD step up to a 3.90 gear to get where I want, however I'd like to run a 28" tire for the larger contact patch.
If I ran a 28" tire, and wanted a final ratio equivalent to 3.90's on 26" tires, I will need to step up to a 4.30 gear!
You have gone the complete opposite direction, so if you go to a 28" tire with your 3.55 gears, the car will act like you have 2.73's on 26" tires

Second post, more information:
According to your sig, 10.86@125mph, with a 26" tire, and 3.73 gears, you should be cruising through the traps at 6000 RPMs Now this can ofcourse be different due to the converter you run, since im assuming its a non lock-up.
a 3.55 gear with the same MPH and a 26" tire will put you closer to 5650 RPM
If you stepped to a 28" tire, the same trap speed, would net you about 5200 RPM with the 3.55 gears

i run a 27 as of right now but its close enough to a 26 i have a super loose converter thats why i think its up so high you can feel the car fall over before the 1000 ft mark in 3rd gear, Im going to go to the track tomorrow morning and see what she runs im hoping it will do something better. Im already in the high 1.40range 60' so i wouldnt mind if it fell into the 1.55 area
