Default How possible is this likely to happen

Tonight I had a weird event happen. So to make a long story short. I was park on a drive way that put my car in a weird position. The driveway was a somewhat steep slope, I parked sideways and up the slope. with that i had less than a 1/4 tank of fuel. suddenly my car died and i had no clue why. after 30 mins i was like screw it lets tow it. so my uncle and I push my car up the drive way so we go down to flat land. once i got to flat or at least i got my car out of the weird position my car fired right up and idled. so is it possible that with the weird position of my car i wasn't getting a fuel because the fuel was out of the fuel pumps reach?

the fuel pump drops down into the passenger side of the tank, so if the car was tilted with the drivers side leaning down, yes it is entirely possible.

yup! it was leaning a lot on the drivers side. I just thought id ask before i start checking things. At first a thought some wires melted since i jumped my uncles car before my car died. checked spark first, since it is the easiest. also im about to make a 4 hour road trip saturday so i really don't want my car to just fail suddenly

I had a similar incident with my 93. On my way to the gas station found it to be closed. Next station 3 km up the road. Ran that sucker right out of fuel. Needle still showing 1/16 left. Half a notch until empty. I know it doesn't sound like much but I swear I've seen it lower than that before and refilled with less than 50 L's. I'm sure it will hold at least 53.

Call home and get my wife to bring me a gas can. Pour in 2L and it starts and sputters. I try to drive it and it dies. Buy 4 L pour it in and it finally runs proper. Why it wouldn't run with only 2L poured in, I don't know. That's like 1/2 a gallon.
