Well I might be selling off my ol 5.0 Have had it for 10 years now, but found a guy that wants it and has an 03 conv cobra he said hed make a deal with. I have the weekend to think about it before I see his car but so far I know it has: magnaflow exhaust, blower pullie, tuned, cai, and lowered. and he is asking $16,000 for it...
any thoughts?

Wow an '03 Cobra for a fox? I like both but why would he want to get rid of an '03 Cobra for a fox? I like you wheels btw and your car looks clean. I would say go for it if the Cobra is in good shape unless the fox holds sentimental value.

I would base it off of if you like to work on cars or not. With a newer Cobra like that I would not feel as confortable diving in as i do with my 94. and the Cobra is pretty much already there with HP so you are not going to be doing much for mods.

Also it's obvious to me that he's going to want cash as well as your trade so the other question is do you want to part with that much cash or have another car payment.

I think I would and then buy another project Fox for me to tinker with and get it out of my system.

Yes it would be trade plus cash. I WISH i could get $16,000 out of my fox, hell i have that or nearly that in it at this point! Really the way I am looking at it is, its a great car, and totaling the amount of money left for the parts I want for my fox is still around another 10,000-15,000 bucks...we will see
