Scorpion or Harland Sharp are more than adequate for most applications.
Actually, anything that is not imported is fine. The Chinese haven't figured bearings out yet...though the Japanese have.

I use Comp Cams Pro Magnums, 7/16's stud, 1.6 ratio.
Works good for me......

Crane went under and was bought out by S&S Cycle....they're back up again, but concentrating mainly on the ignition end. So they might only be producing valvetrain stuff in limited amount, if it all.

I have used Harlands and Scorpions recently and both have held up fine (both are 7/16").
