have an 88lx. has a single turbo kit on it. after i got the car back from having the kit installed, when i start it, it runs for a few seconds, then kinda hesitates, then dies. talked to the tuner about it. he said maybe its an o2 sensor cause if i hold the rpms up for a little bit until the motor heats up, then it runs fine until the car sits for a while and cools down. now i had new head gaskets installed and the car runs like **** the entire time. just real jerky and hesitant but yet when i get on the car, it smoothes out and runs good, until i get off it. then back to jerky, and hesitant every few seconds. please help

sounds like a vacuum leak? idle needs adjustment?

i will have to spray all the vac lines with water and look for bubbles but i dont know how in the heck i will be able to check the full length of the vac lines that eventually make there way under the upper intake manifold without having to take it off. just dont understand the problem with the car diying, then running fine after it warmed up but that problem is old news.

run a koer test also and make sure no codes exist

im sorry. what is a koer test? also do you know any places that can check obd1 besides the local garage? i know autozone. the crazy thing is that i dont think my dash even has a cel option. i have owned the car for 3 years and have never been able to find one on the dash. maybe the bulb is burnt out, but you would think you would at least be able to see the letters, or the image of an engine on the dash somewhere.....
