Default Need Ideas for before I throw this thing in the car tomorrow

I bought a 3/8" screw in temp sensor switch for an electric fan. I got a few options and am wondering what your take on it is. I can put it in the back of the gt-40 intake by using a tap but, it is going to be a ways from my thermostat. Another option would be to move the temp sending unit to after the thermostat in the water neck and put the switch there. Other option is have made an aluminum pipe about 4 or 5 inches long with a place for it to screw into. This would be placed in the bottom radiator hose. I would just cut the hose and clamp it in. As I would every time I replace the hose.

So what do you think? The third option sounds like it would be the best to me. But I need to decide because I am planning to set the motor by 6 tomorrow.

I put one in the t-stat housing for a friend and it seemed to work well there, some housings had a plug there with hole already tapped and others will need to be tapped

that option would be the quickest by far since it could be done tomorrow. If it worked for him, I guess it should for me too......
