it hits when i turn and when i back up fast. i think its hitting the controll arm, but not sure i just hear it when i am in it

Get under the car and look for clearance issues, us a flash light....

I used 1/4 MM spacer and mine also rubbed inner wells I noticed when hugging corners or agressive driving, you could feel the body roll/ floating in the back so to lock the body to the rear I installed mm PANHARD bar and solved the whole prob, car rides like a dream with 0 float now
