this is my first ford, 347 stroker, 30lb inj, 70mm throttle body, bbk headers. Think about buying roush stage 2 heads and custome ground cam about 540. input on heads and need to know if i will have to do anything to ecu

Don't know much about heads. But you will deff. need a tune. With my 30#rs in the car does not like to idle. But I aint got wide bands or a tune as of yet.

I'd look into some tfs fac 190 heads or some tfs 205's......let that baby breath and as far as the custom cam ...let the designer choose the specs for your combo, if you say you want 540 lift, my bet is it's not custom your looking at......

You can make the motor run on the stock a9l without a tune. Obviously a tune will get maximum power but it will run fine without.

finally bought some heads, got some canfield heads and holly systemax upper and lower intake. harland sharp 1.6 rockers
