You could get a set of gently used trickflows/edelbrocks complete for the same price tbh.

You better be building a 347 to get 400rwhp, without a power adder at least. And you'll need GOOD heads, a custom cam and lighter internals will help. 400rwhp in a 302 will need a lot of rpm, and it might end up being something you don't want to drive regularly.

With those heads I really doubt if a 347 without 'power adder' will make 400RWHP.
They are a 1.94 valve and something like 178cc intake runner.
Thats a little small.
I would think that Trick Flows would work much better........

It really wouldn't be a good idea to run a large cam with pedestal rockers in the first place.

Pedestal rockers are fine for hyd roller street cams that aren't turning much over 6,500, but it mainly depends on the lobe profile/spring pressure. They're a lot stronger than people give them credit for. And if you want something better, Jesel Sportsman Rail setups are reasonably affordable and designed to bolt onto many pedestal heads as well as stud heads.
