Don't EVER purchase items with that name on them. Yes it matters what brand MAF you purchase. I don't have EFI so I can't say exactly what one would be best but I'm sure someone will.

^ primetime, I was told to go for the biggest MAF you can? I'm lookin at the 95mm Velocity PMAS. Am I wrong in doing that?

unless you plan on putting a power adder into your car, that maf is overkill. You want to get the best maf for your application.

Example: My car will pull ~1300kg/hr airflow at 6500RPM. DO you think it would be wise of me to spend $290 on a maf that will flow close to 3000kg/hr? Or would my money be better spent on a $175 maf and supporting parts, which flows 1700kg/hr...

Do you see what I'm getting at?

Use a 75mm MAF with a 70mm throttle body. PMAS is the brand I was thinking but it just didn't sound right.

Exactly, if you are going to buy a MAF, you may as well buy one that you can use years down the road if you decide to upgrade your combo.
