holley systemax II and edelbrock are also great intakes.

You need to match the stuff to one another tho, you dont want to have a set of heads that flows best from idle-6000, and then slap on an intake that performs best from 2500-7000.... these parts just dont help eachother to make power

alright right on i saw that the street burner was supposed to perform good from idle to 5500 I don't believe i ever shift higher then that. Also what kind of difference would 3:73 gears make on my highway rpms?

you cant go based off the listed rpm range. there are more parts involved then an intake that dictates your usable rpm range. your engine is an air pump you want to get as much air in and out this is what make horsepower. you want to get as much air in and then if anything is going to be a restriction it will be your heads. if you are going to buy an intake do NOT waste your money with the street burner

Well what should I go with? What is the best intake for what i currently have and will still be good enough for future improvements ie. bigger heads/cam etc
