Default i want a little more

on my current set up, im making 370whp, and 430tq @10psi. was thinking about bumping it up to 12psi. i estimate it would put my around 410whp. i would also re-dyno it to check tune and such. is this to much power, or boost for a stock 88lx? btw, it has mls head gaskets, and arp head studs

I'm pretty sure the 10 psi you're running is about the safe max, but sadly you've been hit with the boost bug, you're going to turn it up to 12, then 13, 14 until BOOM, and then you get to really build the motor and turn it up to 30, then 31, 32 and so on, but i would leave it at ten, look for other way's to up the power heads intake and such (if you haven't already)

12 will be fine as would 14-15, I know a few local guys running such with no issues, but there is never a gaurantee, make sure the tune is on and you'll be fine

Thanks mj. So I'm leavin my 10pm spring in, putting a manual boost controller on, and putting it on the dyno. The good thing is that it apparently has a super safe tune on it. There's a total of 14 degrees of timing pulled. Last time I put it on the dyne at 10 psi the a/f was beautiful. The bad thing is that the guy that tuned it is about an hour away so I'm thinkin bout dynoing it still to see how the a/f is without messing with the tune and then go from there. Worse case scenario have to drive the car to the original tuner and have it tweaked? Any advice or constructive criticism?
