On my 1983 fox I have broken molding on my passenger side door and real bad looking ones on the quarter panels.

I looked around quite a bit for replacement molding but could not find any. If I were to just peel them off and clean up where they were (I plan to paint eventually anyways) would that look bad or noticeable, Considering the bumpers have that look in the molding. Does any one have a photo of theirs or a vehicle like that?

I wouldn't attempt the door moldings they're huge and there's a piece of metal in the middle of them that makes them go out of shape when you try to take them off. Ford Has the 87-93 moldings but the earlier years I think they're still out of.

peel the metal backing off and they will lay flat again, done it quite a few times and apply 3mm tape to reaply
