Default what is the overall best way to..

do a complete 4 wheel disc 5 lug conversion on a 87 hatch? money isnt a problem,but if the better way is the cheaper way thats great too... ive heard great things from doing sn95 spindles and all that (mainly concerned about the front end) but i dont know if theres any other ways, could anybody further my knowledge?! thanks

A bolt on Wilwood kit is probably the best bang for the buck. The kits are nice because you get everything you need. But you might save a few bux by sourcing a few of the smaller parts elsewhere. Just like every other kit on the market of any kind.

Wilwood has been around for a long time, so probably will remain in business.

I went from SVO brakes to Wilwoods, and the differance is amazing. The car will almost stand on it's nose. I can go a lot deeper into the braking zone than before, which really decreases lap times. And they're very consistant from lap to lap. On the street they're easy to control, regardless of temps.

Plan on changing the MC, too. If you increase caliper size and number of psitons, don't expect your stock MC to feed them.

Of course, big brakes require big wheels. You can get Wilwood (and other) kits to fit 15 and 16" wheels. But they're not going to perform as well.
